Analytics is available on the Pro and Agency plans. Upgrade your plan in Settings → Billing to access these features.
The Analytics dashboard gives you a live view of how clients interact with your documents — from the moment you share them to when they sign. Open it from Analytics in the left sidebar.

Key metrics

Four KPI cards appear at the top of the dashboard. Each card compares the current period to the previous one and shows a trend indicator.

Total Views

The total number of times your documents were opened during the selected date range.

Unique Viewers

The number of distinct people who viewed at least one document. One person opening three documents counts as one unique viewer.

Documents Shared

The number of share events recorded — each time a document link was sent to a recipient.

Avg Response Time

The average time between a document being shared and a recipient first opening it. Displayed in minutes, hours, or days depending on the value.

Charts

Activity over time

The area chart plots views, shares, and comments as separate lines across the selected date range. Use it to spot engagement spikes — for example, a surge in views shortly after you send a proposal.

Document status

The horizontal bar chart shows how many documents currently sit at each stage of your workflow: Draft, Sent, Open, Commented, Signed, and Archived. Use it to see where documents are getting stuck.

Top documents

The Top Documents table lists your most-viewed documents for the selected period, sorted by total view count. Each row shows:

Click any row to open the Document Views drill-down and see exactly who viewed it and when.

Recent views feed

Below the charts, the Recent Views feed shows the latest individual view events across all your documents in real time. Each entry displays the viewer name or email, the document they opened, and how long ago it happened.

Filtering

Date range

Use the 7d / 30d / 90d toggle in the top-right corner to change the time window. All metrics, charts, and the top documents table update immediately.

External only

Toggle External only to exclude views and events from members of your own workspace. This lets you focus purely on client engagement without your team’s activity inflating the numbers.
Turn on External only before reviewing metrics with a client — it gives a clean picture of their activity alone.
